The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has issued a ruling for the adoption of EMR systems that meet Meaningful Use Stage 1 objectives and measures. Eligible providers that use certified EMR systems can qualify for reimbursements from the Medicare and Medicaid incentive program.

XBITech's EMR Platform follows all the Meaningful Use requirements and will be launching it's e-prescribing module in the next few months. The XBITech goal and guarantee for 2011 is to certify our EMR Platform as a Health IT product that practices can use to apply for reimbursements.
